Great opportunity: horticulturist (England)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horticulturist in Cumbria, England. You will work in a public park. Day-to-day duties: • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings Requirements: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules 3+ years on the tools preferred.
