Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards The role involves mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; run load and overload tests with test weights; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear.
