Now hiring: we are hiring a plant operator in McCracken County, Kentucky. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat Day-to-day duties: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels Full-time, day shift.
