TIG welder — Esan Central

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a TIG welder in Esan Central, Edo. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work Day-to-day duties: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding 5+ years on the tools preferred.
