Cnc setter-operator wanted in Polk County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Polk County, Oregon. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. On the job you will handle: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers You should have: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
