Framing carpenter • Upshur County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Upshur County, Texas. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. Your main tasks: • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists You should have: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
