Ideal candidate: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems The role involves: • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
