Now hiring: we are hiring a tile fixer in Kane County, Illinois. Requirements: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation Day-to-day duties: • Set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
