We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Luton, England. The job is at a power plant. Day-to-day duties: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
