Vacancy available: we are hiring a halal butcher in Traverse County, Minnesota. You will be based in a hotel or restaurant butchery. Requirements: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths On a typical shift you will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
