Furniture maker — Logan County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a furniture maker in Logan County, Ohio. You will work on a residential housebuilding project. Day to day you will erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board. Ideal candidate: • At least 2 years' hands-on carpentry experience • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work 4+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
