Immediate opening: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Akinyele, Oyo State. On a typical shift you will keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate 5+ years on the tools preferred.
