Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Steuben County, New York. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control On a typical shift you will dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse. $5,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
