Confectioner — Pawnee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a confectioner in Pawnee County, Oklahoma. Day-to-day duties: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel You should have: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Food handler / hygiene certificate Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $2,700 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
