Now hiring: TIG welder (Ohio)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a TIG welder in Hocking County, Ohio. You will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
