Great opportunity: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Ikono, Akwa Ibom State. Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Day to day you will carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control.
