Vacancy available: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Emanuel County, Georgia. Your main tasks: • Weigh, price and label cuts for the display case • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts Ideal candidate: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers 4+ years on the tools preferred. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
