Great opportunity: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in Carbon County, Utah. You will be based on a golf course. Requirements: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed 1+ years on the tools preferred.
