Vacancy available: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Surrey, England. You will work in a metal fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Day to day you will check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed.
