Gardener wanted in Greeley County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gardener in Greeley County, Kansas. The job is in a public park. Day-to-day duties: • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers Requirements: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
