Vacancy available: we are hiring a power press operator in Cumbria, England. The role involves watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean. You should have: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
