Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Nye County, Nevada. The job is at an auto-components manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred $4,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
