Furnace operator — Chikun

Vacancy available: we are hiring a furnace operator in Chikun, Kaduna State. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. The role involves apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects. What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
