The role involves segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift; run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing; clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line; follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet.
