Shuttering carpenter • Macomb County, Michigan

Vacancy available: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Macomb County, Michigan. You will be based at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. The role involves plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring. You should have: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
