Join our team: pastry baker (Benue State)

Now hiring: we are hiring a pastry baker in Ushongo, Benue State. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. Day to day you will monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; score the top of loaves before baking. Requirements: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
