Now hiring: we are hiring a head butcher in Kokona, Nasarawa State. On a typical shift you will weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings. Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts.
