Great opportunity: we are hiring a cnc lathe operator in Middlesbrough, England. On the job you will handle: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes Requirements: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
