Join our team: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Daviess County, Kentucky. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. What we are looking for: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels The role involves: • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction Rotating shifts. $2,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
