Heavy equipment operator — Kern County

Join our team: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Kern County, California. You will work at a road and highway construction project. Your main tasks: • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly Ideal candidate: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
