We are recruiting: HGV driver (Rivers State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a HGV driver in Emuoha, Rivers State. You will be based at a busy distribution depot. Ideal candidate: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Current Driver CPC qualification card Your main tasks: • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
