Car refinisher — Ashtabula County

Now hiring: we are hiring a car refinisher in Ashtabula County, Ohio. You will be based in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Ideal candidate: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Able to mix paint by weight on a scale • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods Day-to-day duties: • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Prime and seal bare metal to stop rust • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
