Cnc production machinist wanted in Cowlitz County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Cowlitz County, Washington. The job is at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54). What we are looking for: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges 3+ years on the tools preferred.
