What we are looking for: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols The role involves TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,800 per month, based on your experience.
