Immediate opening: cake decorator (Michigan)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cake decorator in Oscoda County, Michigan. You will work at a busy bakery. You should have: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens • Able to work early-morning and night shifts Day to day you will knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch.
