Vacuum press operator — Wayne County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Wayne County, Utah. You will be based at a garment factory. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets On a typical shift you will sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $26 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
