Wet plasterer — Pushmataha County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a wet plasterer in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma. You will be based in an occupied house during renovation. Requirements: • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents Your main tasks: • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge • Skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
