Banksman — Boripe

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a banksman in Boripe, Osun State. The role involves: • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
