Retail butcher • Van Wert County, Ohio

We are recruiting: we are hiring a retail butcher in Van Wert County, Ohio. You will work at a wholesale meat market. You should have: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day You will dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
