Blocklayer wanted in Owerri Municipal

Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Owerri Municipal, Imo State. The job is on a commercial construction site. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one On the job you will handle: • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder ₦4,500 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
