Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards The role involves: • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
