Immediate opening: we are hiring a VMC operator in Phillips County, Kansas. Day to day you will measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience.
