Now hiring: we are hiring a groundsman in Bernalillo County, New Mexico. The job is in a public park. The role involves: • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters Requirements: • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
