Immediate opening: we are hiring an oven operator in Brazoria County, Texas. You will work in a hotel pastry kitchen. On a typical shift you will prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
