Immediate opening: we are hiring a garden maintenance worker in LaPorte County, Indiana. You should have: • Happy to work outdoors in all weather • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting The role involves: • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines • Rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste • Prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
