Immediate opening: we are hiring a forklift driver in Franklin County, Alabama. The job is at a container loading yard. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts, nights and weekends • Accurate, careful stock handling • Good awareness of load stability and health and safety On a typical shift you will load and unload pallets from trucks and shipping containers; log damaged pallets, leaks and faults in the defect book; stack and de-stack goods in high-bay racking; top up the hydraulic oil and grease the mast chains; position the forks square and tilt the mast to secure the load; read the load capacity plate and never exceed the rated lift limit. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
