Great opportunity: fabrication workshop technician (Ohio)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Wayne County, Ohio. You will be based on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Your main tasks: • Read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash Requirements: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits Performance bonus on top of base pay.
