Now hiring: we are hiring a carpenter in Putnam County, Illinois. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. You should have: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Own basic hand tools • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers The role involves cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,700 per month, based on your experience.
