Join our team: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in Wayne County, Illinois. The job is in a CNC machining unit. On the job you will handle: • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm You should have: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Part-time with flexible hours.
