Join our team: we are hiring a precision welder in Fagge, Kano State. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. On a typical shift you will select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight Six days a week, one day off.
